I know I can buy a cuckoo rice cooker, or a $100 rice cooker at Walmart or an export 230V zojirushi, or use a pot on the stove ​but what I really want is the high end zojirushi enbudaki japanese market only 100V rice cooker and budget is not an issue.

I'm in Europe so my voltage is 230V. ​

​Is anybody using a zojirushi rice cooker with a step down converter and if yes what are the downsides? Security? Heat? Noise? Size?
