Am I just bad at math?

I’ve always been a very creative and active person, constantly drawing ever since I could remember, and I’m very good at literature as well.
I’m not trying to be show off (really), But Last year (junior year) I joined DP English without having ever been in an advanced English class before, and to my surprise, my English teacher was astonished I’d never been, she even dug through my transcripts because she couldn’t believe it. Tbh, I still consider myself quite bad at it, mainly because of how bad I am at remembering structural things like peacact or sweeptt.

Anyways, getting to the point math has never been my strong suit and always the one subject, or aspect that’s extremely difficult for me to learn. I’m a senior in high school, and I’m in algebra 2, but a lower level because during 1st semester they switched me out because of how bad I was doing.
• It takes me an extremely long time to learn different math problems and equations, especially things like algebra long division, but even in elementary school I struggled with regular long division (still can’t understand it lol)
• I never understood why other kids my age can learn math so much faster than me. Even when I study my ass off and try my hardest it almost always falls flat. Even though I’ve gotten a bit better over past few months of studying, I’m still horrible. I just can’t understand it.The excruciating long, complex, steps and then remembering what goes where is so difficult.
• even with “simple” things like measuring on a ruler can be very tricky, especially the science rulers where you measure 3d objects (like bones) or using a protractor.
• So why is this?? Why is it so difficult for me to learn math? How will this impact my ability to handle financial things as an adult? It makes me extremely frustrated and worried about my future financial situation. Does anyone have any idea?
