Dating as a 30+ woman…how is it fairing?

It’s one of those weekends where I have been indoors all day,it’s quite gloomy outside and all I’m doing is raving between my couch, bedroom and the fridge.

This,is actually how my weekends are unless I decide to step out for a solo date,go to school perhaps or grab a drink with my sisters. There’s that looming feeling of loneliness I have been having for a while now.

Turning 32 in a few months(F) here.My mind is constantly buzzed with racing thoughts of the different things I want for my life.I had never pictured myself married with kids..and that’s my situation right now but sometimes the stinging feeling of loneliness especially on weekends gets me thinking were we really created to live like this?I work high pressure finance job,I rarely get a chance to go out but when I do I’m absolutely socially anxious.I have not had the best luck dating,I mostly fall for emotionally unavailable people which triggers a lot of unhealthy trauma.

There’s a page I came across on Facebook that was advertising some blind date thing for Singles called Thursday Social, targeting people in 35+ bracket, and all the females’ tickets were sold out and it just got me wondering, are we all sailing in this same boat?Without sounding like I’m desperate, where do people stable partners who are kind, emotionally available and have their lives going on for them?
