Medical Question
I recently got BQ and am still waiting to receive my TOL. I know that this is a long process and I still will have to wait a while until I get to the medical clearance. I was going through my PCP notes in a checkup from 2025 and noticed that “drug use - cannabis ‘socially’ “ was marked off. I believe that she misinterpreted when I told her that I don’t smoke anymore and that I just hung around people or was in situations where people did. I haven’t used any THC or marijuana products since late 2023 and all my other PCP notes would reflect that. I am concerned considering that this would definitely cause a hiccup in my timeline when I provide these documents (if requested). My Doctor recently retired not too long after that last visit. What is the best way to go about this to clear this discrepancy up because it genuinely has me panicking. I am looking at requesting and submitting a Formal request for Amendment under HIPPA. I don’t know if I should go through with the amendment or try to explain the situation to my AME whenever I get to that point.
Edit: For clarification I was marked as Active Usage when I was not using. I plan on trying to submit an amendment to clear this up. But if my amendment gets denied, would it be better to wait a year and reapply with my BQ just to be safe?
