Hello, i bought a second hand Starlink dish over the weekend, Actuated V3 with a mounting kit and ethernet adapter, the previous owner has transferred ownership of the account to me and i’ve removed them from it already, problem i’m having is it will only let me activate a subscription at the highest tier payment plan, not the £35pm one i wanted, the option isn’t even there,
I’ve been going round in circles with the AI help and got nowhere, i’m told by it that my current rental service line only supports the £75 a month residential plan, which makes no sense as the previous owner bought it outright
Anyway, has anyone encountered this and got anywhere with resolving it?
I got it cheap enough that i can accept the loss if not, part of a bundle with some other stuff i bought.
And if i were to cut my losses and just get a brand new one from Starlink, do the current dishes have actuation so they find the best signal themselves? i plan on mounting it on the roof or chimney when i move in a few months
