Does anyone know which species is this?
This little guy must have came in with some of the plants I ordered for my new tank. Wondering what species is this, I just hope that this isn’t an assassin snail

It was simply amazing.
I read some of the reviews and my expectations were pretty high. The movie was paced a little differently than I thought it would be but I’m happy with it. In the beginning I wasn’t as satisfied as I thought I was going to be but the last part of the movie was amazing and it made it a 10/10 for me.
It’s definitely worth watching, it definitely lives up to the hype. Just be prepared that the best part (at least for me) was the end.
After the movie ended the whole room started clapping (I had never experienced that in a cinema). Kane really knows what he is doing and it shows.
Edit: If you have any questions DM me
First of all, thanks to anyone who helped me, I really appreciate it. I added pictures of the background, so that you can see that there are plants (I know I should add more) and pictures of my test results.
My 45L tank is cycling for less than 48h, after 24h I changed 40% of the water, because it was (and still is) a little murky. It helped but not that much.
I also tested the water for the first time today (I forgot to buy the tests 😶🌫️). And I feel like it’s not terrible, but honestly I don’t know.
I also ordered a filter (Aquael Pat MINI), but preferably I won’t use it. If so, it would be just till my tank cycles. I also ordered a smaller heater that some of you suggested but right now my water sits under 25℃ so I don’t think I need it right now.
I also ordered these plants: Microsorium pteropus "Narrow', Ceratopteris pteroides, Phyllanthus fluitans, Limnobium laevigatum, Anubias nana, Anubias nana Long Wavy, Egeria densa and Lysimachia nummularia. So that I have more coverage.
If there are any other recommendations or tips, please share them. And please let me know how my tests are doing, I did some research but I’m still confused a little bit.
Hi, this is my first tank ever, so excited! If you have any recommendations please share them 😄. There are also sessilifloras in the back, they are just really small
Hi, I’m planning on starting my first ever aquatic ecosystem and I might need some tips and help! I have been a plant lover my whole life and I always found aquatic plants fascinating but adding even more life would be really nice. I would also love if some of my houseplants could be growing out of the tank (Monstera deliciosa, peace lily and orchids).
My goal:
A self sufficient ecosystem without filtration and water changes if not needed. I know that I need to create the ecosystem and let it cycle first, but in the future I would like to have a Betta fish, shrimps and snails. My first goal are the plants, which will be essential, then shrimps and snails so that the ecosystem can thrive and then the betta.
Tank, light, heater:
The only thing I have yet is a 45L 50x30x30 tank (11,8 gallons). I haven’t bought the light yet, but I think that I should buy one with 6 500 to 7 500 Kelvins and set it up for 8-9 hours a day. I also want to get a heater and a small 50W one should be fine. As I mentioned I want my plants to thrive first, then add the Betta, but I don’t want to shock the plants.
Soil:
My plan is to buy aquarium substrate, cover around 2,5 cm (1 inch) of the bottom of the tank. But I don’t know what to look for and what brands to pick. Then I want to add some fertilizer for the roots and top it off with 5 cm (2 inches) of sand.
Aqua scape:
Then I plan to create my own aqua scape
with driftwood (I know that it can’t be too sharp because then the betta might get injured). And I also want to include rocks, but I don’t know what type to get, I’ve heard that some rocks can make water harder after some time and I don’t want to use those because Bettas are soft water fish. I also want to add at least one proper hideaway.
I know that I have to glue the wood and rocks together with hardscape glue so that the wood doesn’t float.
I don’t know how I want it to look like exactly, but it will depend on which piece of wood I choose, I know that I will get inspired as soon as I see some pieces irl. Ideally one large piece that would stretch across the whole tank or one bigger and one smaller piece. I would like it the driftwood would come out of the water a little bit (so that I could secure some plants on it). But as I said, it all depends on which piece I will get. I might even see a large rock and just add one piece of driftwood.
Plants:
I want to start with covering the driftwood with Weeping moss and securing it with a cotton thread. Then I want to attach some plants to the main aqua scape structure using plant glue. After that I want to plant Sagittaria subulata, Leptochilus pteropus, Anibias petite and Lobelia into the forefront of the tank. And Rotala rotundifolia (both green and red) and Limnophila sessiflora into the background. And the only floating plant I picked in advance is the Phyllanthus fluitans in-vitro and I planned to choose the rest irl. I would like to do that with most of the plant but I am worried that they will need completely different conditions (just as houseplants).
I know that I have to fertilize these plants but I don’t know how often and how much.
Non aquatic plants:
I simply don’t know when to add them.
Shrimp:
I don’t know when to add them and what type to get. I also heard that they can crawl out of the water which wouldn’t be ideal since I don’t plan on having a lid. I also want to have the houseplants in there and I don’t want them to crawl all over them.
Water:
This is where I’m completely lost, I know that I have to test the water in the tank but I don’t know what to do if something isn’t right and I don’t even think that I know what is “right”.
If anyone read all of this, thank you so much. I tried to learn as much as I can just from videos and articles. I also wanted to talk about this with the employees in some fish shops but I think that they might try to talk my out of some things or try to sell me something I don’t need. I will appreciate every piece of advice that you have. You could also just recommend some cool plants to put in there because I would love to have as many species as possible. But if you want to give me an advice about anything else feel free to do so :).

I have been a plant lover my whole life and I always found aquatic plants fascinating but adding even more life would be really nice.
