Anyone else not care for the moon or moonwork?

Personally, I'm in the boat of believing the moon is a superconstruct from aliens a long time ago, we've never landed there, and there's nothing supernatural about it other than ancient alien stuff. I approach spellwork much less about deities and spirit, and more about universal energies and flow existing in and through us all. Every attempt to do moon based spells or rituals just feels silly to me, and if I wanted cosmic energy, it seems more efficient to use the sun. Any one else have similar regards to the moon and energy? What do you do instead when it comes to moon incorporated spells or rituals?

Help with deciding what to upgrade

I made it this far without using any upgrades thanks to my leather armor. Should I keep hoarding them until the end of floor 9 and see if I get anything good armor or weapon wise?

Question about silicone in crafting

Im wanting to make metallic spikes that are safe for conventions, so i was thinking proto putty, but the problem is then adhering them to plastic knee pads, theoretically, if i was to make the spikes with proto putty and put small screw into the backs, the head part being encased by it, I should then be able to just screw them into the knee pads, right? Or would it fall right off as if it were a flexible mold?

Would it be better to form the putty spikes on the screws, after curing remove them, scuff the screw head, add a dollop of silicone adhesive into the spike hole, and then add the screw back in? Or is that massive overkill?
