Best way of saving for my kids as a dual UK / US citizen

I am an “accidental American” who has never lived there and my kids are not US citizens.

I am still running into issues finding a savings account for them. I would like to open a stocks and shares ISA but haven’t been able to.

The money is mostly gifted my grandparents but I would like to start contributing myself. It’s in premium bonds currently and doing absolutely nothing. My daughter has had one prize in 4 years. My twins have had none in 2 years. I’d like something better.

I file my tax return every year and am considering giving up my US citizenship but it’s a tricky emotional area for me and it’s also not an easy process. You have to go to an interview at the embassy and there is a waitlist due to high demand currently….

I am frustrated by the whole process to be honest. I just want to give my kids the best start possible.

Any recommendations gratefully received 🙏🏻
