2008 gmc sierra 5.3L V8
Ok so for context we bought this 2008 gmc sierra with the 5.3L V8 and we was in town one day at a red light and the light turned green and the truck just shut off and wouldn’t go anywhere so we stopped turned our hazards on trying to push the truck into a parking lot to get it out of the road my friend towed my truck home and we tried to start the truck and it will now start for 2 seconds then die right after we bought a new fuel pump for it and that didn’t work we then bought a fuel pump control module for it and that didn’t do anything so we are now stuck on what is causing this issue and what’s not letting the engine keep getting gas for it to stay running any help would be very appreciated thanks and meanwhile the truck was driving perfectly before
