Need Help - Toe Nail Fungus
Hi everyone,
To start off, I had noticed a hole looking dent on my big toe nail November 2025. After I removed layers of nail polish (yes, I know this is bad), I noticed that the nail was lifted & not attached on the left side and I saw some green/yellow growth under the nail. I cut down as much as I could, and by December 2025 started taking Lamisil.
Fast forward to around February, I kept trimming back the nail and anything that was lifted. Lamisil seemed to be working but I was not going well with my digestive system so I had to stop after just two months of treatment.
Now, I notice that the original spot that was on the lower left is clearing up, but the fungus is moving to the right and it’s close to the cuticle area.
I’m applying apple cider vinegar every day. I also am applying the Lamisil cream and covering with a band aid.
I don’t know what to do anymore. I don’t have insurance and seeing a doctor seems a bit out of reach. Looking for thoughts and suggestions, thank you!
