I sent him to the mun, figured out i dont have enough fuel left so i launched the rocket as fast as i could, then i EVA out of it, taking data with me, used his jetpack to escape mun's gravity.

Kerbal started orbiting space alone, left for several days, till my rescue ship came, it took him with, while landing with the ,,rescue" ship i figured i forgot to add parachutes, so i slowed down ship just enoough for jebediah to eva and take data, he had to use parachute barely surviving.

Turns out if you have data in kerbal and recover him you loose it, the data has to be in ship, so i sent a rocket to him, missed by just 30km so now our lovely kerbal gets to have some nice little jog after his adventure :)
