transfer from lbsu to sdsu

im considering transferring from lbsu/csulb to sdsu (if even possible..) but i'm not sure if this is the right choice. i'll list my pros and cons and please let me know. btw i'm a psych major planning to get into business if that helps-- also sorry in advance i have very odd reasons

pros of transferring:

- general quality of life could possibly improve. going to a school as a commuter makes me feel lazy because the effort to come from lb and back feels already like a lot so i don't find myself motivated to attend club events or anything else. made a couple of friends but they all also commute so planning hangouts is rather difficult. though i do plan to try a lot harder to break out of my shell next year i just found that acquaintances are easy to make but friendships are hard to form and maintain

- campus is obviously a lot better and even after construction i can't see myself liking the way lb looks, though i do hear that the area around sdsu can be kind of offputting

- graduating would feel a lot better. idk why this matters to me so much but i get so jealous when i see fun college graduations but every year i see lb graduates complain about how sad graduating is and as someone who had a subpar highschool graduation i can not do that again

- honestly the only thing going for me in lb is a bigger alternative population that i can try to make friends with and being able to be a chud i hate the campus so much and saying i go to long beach feels soulless to me even though it is a great school

cons of transferring:

- lbsu academics have been so insanely easy (mostly thanks to taking online classes) and i wanna keep it that way. im wondering if sdsu offers online classes but i do hear that the academic rigor can be intense and i want to be able to balance building my career while maintaining a good gpa

- i don't plan to be apart of greek life and have been relying on attending uc parties to fulfill the "college" experience though not often. i'm not crazy about partying either but i do hear that sdsu has a better social life than lbsu. in short commute to lb for classes and then party at ucs or live at sdsu?

- i want to try and stay in the la / oc area for work in the future (and have jobs i plan to make somewhat permanent there-- i do service work in the beauty industry) so juggling my jobs can become an issue

- idfk lowkey random but i'm alternative and ik the alt population at lb is pretty solid so maybe i should just try harder to make friends 😭 no idea about the sd alt population though i can be friends with anybody i'm lonely bruh

- making longterm friends? im not from sd and im not familiar w how keeping in touch with college friends works

- lsbu study abroad program looks better than sdsu's imo but not sure once again

- honestly just scared of taking the risk of going far from home and still hating it
