IBM Questions - Leg weakness and CK levels
For those that have been diagnosed with IBM, or maybe not diagnosed yet and experiencing weakness… does anyone just mainly have leg weakness?
Also, what are your CK levels and have they stayed somewhat consistent throughout your journey? My CK has been consistently around 600-850, dipped down in the 300s when I was on prednisone for a bit (didn't help anything), but back up to 610 now and gradually getting weaker but just my legs.
I have NOT been diagnosed with IBM, I was diagnosed with a Localized Myositis in one calf. But I'm trying to figure out why the rest of my legs are weak, especially my quads and over the last 2 years have very gradually continually been getting weaker.
I dread re-doing all the testing again because that's what my neuro wants to do, well MRI and EMG at the least. I guess it would be nice to compare to see if anything has changed over time.
