Not sure how to put it but I'm noticing things I appreciated as a kid being more experimental with food.... I don't like all that much as a young adult. The one I run into the most is parmesan cheese... Used to love it in any way and now it taste sour on all fronts.
I can still enjoy fermented things like sauerkraut & other pickled veggies but I've noticed I don't like the 'finer' things. I like more simple flavors now. Less is more and I struggle learning how to cook for this reason.
