Dear brothers and sisters in the government, will you help me exit quietly from my current job?
Currently employed in the government. Co-terminous. until 30 June 2026.
I can't work here anymore. I was naive to think that the only thing heavy or stressful about the job is the work. Turns out, a large chunk of the weight and stress can come from co-workers/superiors na:
- Lazy
- Power trippers
- Refuses accountability
- Biased
- Favoritism
Buong time ko, all I wanted to do was work, and go home. I never expected na ako ang babagsakan ng mga nakalista sa taas. Blamed for the laziness of others. Made accountable for other people's responsibility.
That said, do I just wait for the end of the contract, then proceed with clearance? Or should I resign? If so, will the 30-day rendering period extend beyond 30 June 2026, or pwede ba na until end of contract lamang? Kailangan paba approval ng aming head? From what i know, notice lamang dapat ang RL. But i don't know, kasi this is my first time. (P.S. irerenew appointment ko)
I fear na pahihirapan ako sa clearance. I just want a quiet exit para makapag pahinga kasi hindi ko na kinakaya ang nararamdaman ko sa office. I want to be with my family nalang muna.
