Dm posted game to Spotify without consent

I would like to preface this by stating that I am already planning on leaving this campaign despite this happening and it’s outcome, as I had a friend that I know reach out to me about joining a game that he is planning on running and personal life shit happening too

______________

I have been playing in a game for the better part of a year now that I found through reddit and I have truly enjoyed it but recently I have been busy with real life stuff and haven’t had time to see what has been going on in the discord that the group is using besides the weekly check in’s for who is playing that week.

To my surprise, I find that the DM has posted the past three weekly sessions as a podcast on Spotify. To the DM’s credit they did mention that they were going to record the sessions so that if anyone missed them they would be better able to catch up, as well as gave people the chance to ask for that not to happen.

However they didn’t mention anything of Spotify nor any public platform that the recordings were to be posted on. At the time I assumed that they would just be posted in the discord or something like a private youtube video so I didn’t care.

This wasn’t anywhere in the boundaries that were set at the start of the campaign and I personally feel like my trust has been violated as the dm didn’t reach out to everyone individually for confirmation of consent.

I don’t know how I should address this, I don’t want to go full scorched earth but I know that I want to have the three sessions that I was a part of to be stripped from Spotify

Update #1

I have reached out to the dm with my concerns and my leaving the party, and they said that they would take the recordings off of Spotify and to a more private way of sharing them.

Other than this one thing the Dm has always been considerate of the players feelings, so I think that this was just a momentary lapse of judgement.

Clarification : the dm was announcing when the things were being posted with links but due to aforementioned personal life issues I wasn’t mentally available enough to process that they weren’t private.
