Course Advice Freshman EECS
Hi! I’m an incoming freshman majoring in EECS and was hoping for some advice regarding my courses for the fall semester.
The current classes I have selected currently are below:
- Math 54 (Linear Algebra and Differential Equations)
- CS 61A
- SASIAN R5B
I have a couple of questions.
Is this an adequate number of courses for my first semester or should I be taking more? For context, I have calc 1/2, reading and composition part A, the American history req, and one lower div humanities course done.
As an EECS major, is it better to take Multivariable calc before linear algebra? (I’m coming off of taking AP calc BC this past year so I thought it would be better to take Multivariable calc but Berkeley suggest linear algebra)
Any recommendations for an easier Reading and composition part B course?
