School list:

Pre II-R: Stanford, Cornell, Boston, NYU, Pritzker, UCSF, UMichigan, WUSTL, UCSD, Northwestern, USC

Post Interview R: UWashington

Post Interview Waitlist: Washington State (technically not R yet, but based on historical data, I am about 30 people off from having a chance)

What went wrong:

Am I a terrible writer? Guilty!! Beyond this, my school list was uhh, optimistic... considering my undergrad was spent checking boxes more than it was building a cohesive theme. My application felt a little rushed, and I submitted slightly late. My thought was, well, I don't really wanna leave Washington, so I will apply to my state schools and the schools that I would be willing to leave for. This was arrogant (I am a stupid baka), and I will adjust this upcoming cycle.

Advice welcome!!!
