Replaced my toothbrush head and now my gums are sore and cut
take very good care of my oral hygiene, floss daily, brush twice a day using an oral b electric toothbrush with sensitive oral b brush heads. Last week I got out a new sensitive oral b brush head and of course it was quite firm. I used the sensitive cleaning function on my electric brush but despite this my gums are very sore and there are cuts in different areas. I have been using the same oral b electric toothbrush and same model toothbrush head for 2 years and replace them every 2-3 months. Is this normal with a fresh toothbrush head ?
Edit: I have 2 routine dental visits per year, at my last few visits I was told my teeth and gums are healthy and no gum disease etc. I have my next check up on Friday but just wanted some advice in the meantime. Thanks
