Need some transmission help! E36 M3

got the car (1999 M3 S52) a few months ago and the shifter was very sloppy. Decided to get a Dinan short shifter, Turner DSSR, Urotuning selector rod joint, and some linkage bushings from Garagistic. Replaced everything a couple days ago and now the reverse lockout isn't working and shifting into first gear is not "over and up" anymore, it's just straight up. Going into reverse is super easy to do, shifting into first and it ends up being reverse at a stop light is not fun. All the other gears seem fine though. I double checked the DSSR and short shifter and everything seems fine, there is no grinding sounds, maybe the selector rod joint is not put in right? Not sure how that could even happen though. Also the reverse lockout and first gear worked perfectly before changing all this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
