4 years, €20,303 paid, less than 6 months of riding, how MV Agusta handles serious quality issues and a sneak peek of their customer service.

I'm posting this here because every other channel has failed me, and I think the MV Agusta community deserves to know how the brand handles serious customer issues.

In May 2022 I purchased a Dragster RR for €20,303 from MV Agusta Namur (Belgium), my second MV Agusta. Less than 6 months later, the bike became completely non-functional and was taken in by the dealer. It has been sitting in their garage ever since. It was transported from Spain dealership to their Italy factory without notice and without my consent. For more than 4 years now, I am paying for a bike that I don't have.

After years of delays, ignored emails, and broken promises, MV Agusta Motor S.p.A. eventually signed a settlement agreement committing to a replacement motorcycle. I thought it was finally over.

It wasn't.

The replacement being offered is a 2023 EURO5 model that cannot be legally registered in Belgium after December 2026 due to EURO5 restrictions. So their "solution" is to replace my unusable bike with another bike they have to liquidate from their stock, I also cannot use.

I escalated publicly on LinkedIn. The CEO personally responded, called the situation unacceptable, and promised an urgent review. Three weeks later, his team came back with the exact same position. Nothing changed.

I have now filed a formal complaint with the Belgian Consumer Centre (CEC) and am exploring further legal action.

I'm not posting this out of anger. I'm posting this because if you are considering buying an MV Agusta, you deserve to know what happens when something goes wrong.

If anyone here has experienced something similar or has advice on how to escalate further, I'd genuinely appreciate hearing from you.
