is this a scam?!

a little while ago today i received this SMS text from a number area code based in Virginia only saying my nickname instead of government. all it said was “Robbie” with no question mark.

my anxiety’s first instinct was to block the number 2 min after i noticed this text so i have no idea if they sent anything else.

i go by Robbie, but how would they know that instead of Robert? when i googled the number nothing came up, so i used a phone number lookup and nothing came back…says the number doesn’t exist and that it’s a landline? i am on my fathers line, so how would they even know this number is assigned to me? i’m aware it could be from data breaches and leaks. even then, they’d know i go by that name?
