Got Attacked by a dog today...

I went to deliver and noticed an unfriendly dog. (Tail was stiff and was growling) no leash or chain. He started barking so I calmy walked back to the car. I have 2 very well trained dogs and am a certified trainer and know dog behavior very well.

The owner snd 3 kids came out and I said they my window "he doesnt like me in your driveway"

She said "he accidentally got out and wouldn't bite that he just barks, you can come to the porch"

I asked if her kids would just grab the order and they all looked at me like I expect most inbred people to look at someone...

Literally her 3 kids all looked like Joe Dirt on meth.

So the whole trash family watched me get their stuff and start walking.

The dog ran at me...jumped and nipped at my face and missed. Then bit my leg and shook his head violently!

I kicked him and dropped the stuff and ran back to my car. Luckily he didnt pierce the skin.

SHE LEFT A COMPLAINT AND SAID I KICKED HER DOG...I do have dashcam footage I think caught it all and told Spark. They seem to be siding with me and I told them I'll gladly get the footage. They informed me she had previous complaints too!!!

I love dogs. I have dogs. This dog was not trained and not on a leash and she admitted he wasn't supposed to be out.

Will spark at least ban her? They are taking my side at least. I didnt hurt her dog. I literally kicked him in the center mass to get him to stop biting me.

pic related : The pants

He was a Pitbull mix...of course. That will make some of you mad but I don't want to hear it. 2 kids in my county in Southern Missouri were just mauled by a pit...one died.

I digress...

At age 37, I Decided to Become An Attorney.

I have been an entrepreneur my whole life. A professional drummer at the age of 14 playing on Cruise Lines, and back in Nashville at The Grand Ol Opry age 9, Even sitting in on benefit concerts around age 18 with artists like Vince Gill & Tim Mcgraw...

I am saying this not to name drop, but to let people know how truly difficult that business is. You have to not just have skill and talent but be lucky and know people to secure those "big jobs". I just never was able to do it. I tried so hard and would always get RIGHT THERE...And then something would happen. I took it as a sign...

I have done film and acting. Ran small businesses from owning a coffee shop to an armed security company.

I am definitely not wealthy. Especially after the pandemic hit. A lot of recoup needed...

I digress.

I have ALWAYS wanted to be a lawyer. I just never went for it, until a few years back. I had already graduated with my BSBA and then later, after submissions and a doctoral dissertation, was awarded my Honoris Causa Doctorate (Business Administration).

I minored in Law and wanted to go to Law school...

i wanted to "get famous" and make films, and play drums with stars...but here I am...38 and lost...So I thought.

I will say I still make a decent living off being a studio drummer and occasionally do big parties with my Security Firm rather than hiring out agents...But I felt "stuck"

I started having this urge again to go to Law School and become a lawyer. I want to work as a public defender for at least a year, and then go onto criminal defense. - I also figured for sone steady income, I could do some remote corporate Law and contracts. That is the plan anyway.

Any advice on grouping those together?

I took the LSAT and got a 180! I am pumped about that. I did a lot of court hours and observation. (I made a really nice Excell sheet to log everything which helped.)

Had to get a grant/aid because the $250,000 price tag for this education is steep.

If everything goes as planned...I should be a working attorney by age 40-41

But, advice would be great on how to group the aforementioned.

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE!

**NOTE: I won't provide law school or name as this is a private account and I have ZERO social media that ties to myself and would prefer to keep it that way.**

TOP 3 THINGS NEW DASHERS THINK: Learn What REALLY Happens In This Post.

New Dasher? Naïve? Broke?

You've come to the right post!

#1

14 mile delivery Shop & Deliver with 60+ Items for $12?

Newbie Says: "Well its more than a Dollar a Mile and I KNOW they will tip me more after I deliver all that."

REALITY:

It takes almost 2 hours to shop, bag and pay. You arrive to a rich neighborhood condo area. You walk up 3 flights of stairs. The Delivery is perfect. An old lady opens her door and asks if you can carry everything inside...You are still thinking "I can't wait for that $100 bill she has for me". You finish. She doesn't even thank you...No tip. You just lost money.

#2

You have 3 orders at once. Its a total of $30 pay for a total of 22 miles. Seems pretty great! You think "run in and out of each restaurant, deliver, and make $30 in less than 30 mins. SCORE!!"

REALITY: You are stuck in traffic. The first restaurant makes you wait 15 minutes. You get the food. The second restaurant is actually super quick. No biggie...But then the final stop is 4 miles away during rush hour.

It takes 34 minutes to get there. Customer #1 is already asking where the food is. You finally get to the last stop.

The order was already picked up by another dasher...

you talk to support. They tell you to cancel the order and that it won't affect your completion rating...

It does...But hey you still get $30. (Keep reading)

You Deliver to the first customer...Its fine...You get to the NOW last address and can't find the apartment.

You call. You text. No answer.

"But isn't this the same person that was asking for their food earlier?" (It is)

You finally find it. You drop it off.

Total Pay $9

You are confused! How? It was $30!

Well the order you canceled was the big tipper for $21 total. The other 2 are no tip "rate" orders only.

You are pissed.

15 mins later you get a text from the last drop off.

"This isn't what I ordered. I asked for NO cheese. There is cheese."

You explain you are just the driver...No response.

They leave a 1 star rating and doordash also gives you a warning for staying in an area too long and being late.

#3

This one doesn't exist because you drove off a cliff after a cop turned on his blue lights. You couldn't handle it and ended it all. Turns out it was just a first responder that needed to get around you...But you're already dead.

The End.

Mistys Psyduck is appearnently one of the most desired chase cards in the series. At nearly $90 now, its said that once the printing stops a RAW cards could surpass $250.

Is this anyone's chase or grale from Destiny's Rival S&V?

I can't decide why. I think it had a nostalgic, innocent look to it, like something I would have seen in a book as a child. (Since I didn't say iPad everyone knows I'm 30+ now...)

What do you all think about this new guy?
