NBA officiating is starting to feel more like WWE than basketball
After watching OKC Thunder vs the Spurs, I honestly don’t know how people are supposed to take the NBA seriously anymore.
The game felt less like a real sporting contest and more like a scripted entertainment product.
Some of the calls, the momentum swings, and the way certain situations were handled made it feel like the league is more interested in drama, narratives, and money than actual basketball.
NBA product is starting to feel completely rigged, or at least heavily influenced by business interests.
At times, it honestly reminds me of WWE: entertaining, dramatic, but not something that feels like pure competition.
Why do American sports leagues always seem to turn everything into a money machine? Between betting, TV ratings, superstar narratives, and league marketing, it feels like the integrity of the sport is being sacrificed.
Basketball is an amazing game. But the NBA is making it harder and harder to believe what we’re watching is just basketball.
ps : sorry for my terrible english
