Cylinder 1 made 20 psi from leaking intake valves, cylinder 2 made 70 psi and is as pictured. The engine showed up full of water, rust, and sediment. "55k mile imported engine" means nothing when it gets used as the shipping boats anchor.
Since a turbo is basically a goofy air compressor, do you think that will fix my low compression problem? If my cylinder is only making 20 psi, that means I should need 160 psi of boost to get it back to 180 psi, right?
I got my K24 to mount into the engine bay, however there seems to be some fitment issues with the mounts. The bolt that holds the rear bracket to the transmission is touching the steering rack and the passenger side mount looks pretty crooked. The other mounts are adjusted as far forward as I could. Will this issues affect the performance?
