Ive been going through the games again at level 1 and this time i added a pro code twist and i did NOT carry over keyblades for this run. Most fights i was able to have anywhere from 9 to 10 codes enabled, some fights i did remove some restrictions as while my end goal is to get risk taker or attempt to with this file at level 1 i also wanted to have a fun time with not impossible odds stacked against me.

Because i enabled pro codes i cant accurately compare how long it would have taken me otherwise compared to 1, 2 and bbs so far but honestly i probably rank it probably either tied with 2 or harder just because while you get more conveniences in 3 you dont get everything that bbs or 1 offered in the ways of protection, at least til the game is mostly over.

As of now before i go into remind i plan on beating inferno in the bad lands, and then progress through remind hopefully with minimal trouble until i get to yozora. If i am able to get through the data fights with my current pro code set up, he will likely be a minimum code fight as i should have just enough for him not to be required but i do still want to try to beat him if my skill lets me xD.

Anywho i may eventually try a DDD or a Recom level 1 but if i did that i need to actually get through both of them first as they arent my favorites in the slightest. If i emulate days or recoded (since you can not equip level chips and such) i could also attempt those but since ive never gotten to play them id rather enjoy them first before suffering. Wish me luck for the suffering that will be happening soon

So a few weeks ago i posted about finishing my Level 1 playthrough of kh1, well this past weekish i not only completed all characters at level 1 i also got the urge to finally complete my old saves for the platinum on top of it so after 25ish hours for the level 1 run and prob another 30 hours sunk into grinding that out.

And now i just wanna share my thoughts on it the level 1 run and how everything played out.

Terra was first on the list, i was just getting back into it relearning everything and taking my time getting melds and overall just getting a feel for it it was possible. Once i got SC and OM melded pretty much everything up until the end game was easy, woth the final boss of terranort giving me the most issues out of all of it.

Ven was a lot quicker as now i was in the groove, did the same thing to get SC and OM, and then same story as terra once that was done no boss remotely provided a struggle up until the final vanitas fight which was annoying as hell due to the end sequence. I found it best to time out the shot locks with his attacks to clash easier and then once i got the finisher, i clashed a final time with the little shotlock i had left and was able to wrap him up

It was at this point i was feeling good and motivated so i decided to load up my old saves and spent the time going through absolutely everything, i started with terra again then ven and then aqua (reverse of how i originally beat the game ironically) and well between the 3 cleared everything out, YX fight was the hardest in all 3 cases. Terra beat all of them at 60, ven at 55-60 and aqua at 45.

Terra just had to resort to thunder surge spam to when as usual against YX, Shot lock spam No heart and eraqus armor, and cheese strike raid Vanitas remnant. Ven was handled in the same manner just about

Aqua was a bit different, i found a similar strat with triple firaga to go through the rock instead of strike raid and also a few seeker mines for extra damage and would just rotate around the rock lol.

The no heart and armor fight were exactly the same but lower level and for YX she had the easiest time dodging everything so thunder surge took him out quickly.

Now finally today back to the level 1 aqua it honestly was the quickest.i took an hour or 2 in castle of dreams (cinderelli) melding triple firagas, getting all my meld abilities very quickly after all the practice i knew how i wanted to play which was 3 triple firagas a Thundaga a megnega a seeker mine and 2 curagas. Nothing in her story was hard at all, in fact i blazed through her story in about 4 hours.

Now for the fun part for the secret story terranort aqua fight i mostly had to dodge everything and when he would attack with sword strikes i would dodge far back and hit him with the triple fires, when he would shoot the black lightning balls i would reflect those back, this is also where refresh barrier came in handy for free heals. After he went down in phase 2 of the fight it was more or less the same but easier since he follows a lot of KH1 ansem moves in that fight it was predictable to attack him when he would shoot the beam waves, dark balls and his gaurdian out first attempt no less.

Here is where i almost screwed up, i didn't know the last boss had so much resistance and i didnt have ignite, however i was able to get ignite lucky by some stickers i had collected and got the ignite reward. After that secret fight was a joke otherwise without that i would not have been able to beat him because the fight woulda lasted hours.

But yeah that wraps up bbs for me, im not doing the superbosses at level 1 because i do not wanna do all the arena stuff AGAiN for no heart and well YX can kiss my ass xD im not dealing with that. Ill probably move on to 3 after a slight break xD.

Final thoughts, this was way easier than both KH1 and 2 level 1 runs no doubt about it you get high level spell access easily, and so much utility, just dont make dumb choices play safer and you win

Several days ago i started my Kh1 level 1 proud mode, no boosts aside from AP boost, and today I wrapped up that journey for the most part.

Bosses that remain Unbeaten at this time are all the super bosses (kurt, phantom, Sepheroth, Xemnas and ice titan)

I did not take the time to get ultima as i did not feel like grinding everything for it.

Id say my top struggle was definitely that last ansem fight where you are solo and the invisible room with donald, 2nd would probably have been riku solo fight, and 3rd probably ursala.

Once i had access to more MP items combat really opened up and wasnt as difficult except for a few situations. I honestly felt like i died more than the game says lol

Anyways i definitely think i can beat kurt and phantom with some more set up, but not sure about the others. I tried ice titan and couldn't manage to get past his 2nd phase without running out of elixers seeing as the damn icicles never liked to home in on him let alone him spamming the pillar move over and over.

Since I've done this i may eventually try a BBS and a KH3 level 1 run but not sure haha need a slight break after some of those parts giving me a headache
