Unprofessional and Rude Customer Service Experience with Policybazaar Representative

I recently received a call from a Policybazaar representative regarding an insurance policy.

During our first conversation, I clearly told her that I would think about it and get back to her later. I never confirmed that I wanted to proceed, nor did I give any specific date or time for a follow-up.

However, the very next day, she called me and said that we could start the insurance process. I asked her when I had given my approval or indicated that I was ready to proceed.

Her response was: "Then why did you visit the website?" — and it was said in a rude and dismissive tone, as if I had wasted her time.

As a potential customer, I believe I should be allowed to compare options and take time before making a decision. Instead, I felt pressured and was spoken to unprofessionally.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with Policybazaar representatives? Is this a common sales approach, or was this just an isolated incident?

I'd appreciate hearing your experiences. Thanks.

Public behavior shows private thinking.

Sometimes it’s hard to understand people. Imagine using someone’s car windshield to extinguish a cigarette — what kind of mindset is that? What’s your opinion on this?

Curiosity starts with what others ignore.

I noticed this in a supermarket, and seconds later a man walked by after eating a whole apple right in front of me. That instantly made me curious about how it really works.

I really need help. I am going through a very difficult time financially. I have a loan, and I also lost my job. Right now, I am working small jobs on my own visa, but I am not earning enough.

The EMI is too high, and I am struggling to pay the installments. I truly want to repay the loan, but I need some support. If the monthly installment can be reduced, it would help me a lot.

Please guide me if there is any way or solution. I am ready to pay, but I need a manageable EMI.
