Work cafe experience. just my experience.

I was in Pune last week, and explored a bunch of cafes for working a day.

  1. Brewbox blend cafe+cowork, prabhat road

When I went in and asked the servers what is the working options. he showed me a printed card/laminated which said full day pass 799 half day pass 499 and other rates. The pricing was disappointing. 800 rs for a full day. too much. But I asked him what does it include. he was clueless on what to answer. I proceeded to explicitly ask him, where can I sit, what does that charge cover etc etc. and didn't get any answer satisfactorily. Needless to say, walked out.

  1. Walked over to Cafe sora (bhandarkar rd), no one even bothered to explain work day and anything. it was even worse than above.

  2. walked further to cafe Kathaa( FC road). The place was deserted. not even 1 person there are 10.30 am. but someone did talk to me at least, however, they didnt' have an AC working and feeling open arrangement wasn't for working the day. maybe a couple of hours, not more.

  3. walked to bookavibe across the road (FC road itself.) this was quite decent. good AC. clear instructions and clear working areas. I spent some time there about 3-4 hrs working and moved on, it was ok.

This were all not so good overall.

I have in the past worked at these better places.

  1. waari - very good, no AC but pricing is clear and drinks are included in the pricing. also 2 hrs based pricing so dont have to pay more than neeeded etc. (this was the best)

  2. FC road social - like any social workpass 300 rs per day pricing. included cover charge .all social workpass rules apply.

  3. starbucks and zen cafe KP. quite decent and order like any other cafe. and work as much as you like.

just shared the not so good, there were good experience in the past which I mentioned a couple. but yeah.

Went to versova beach this week. in the evening. It was a pleasant one, however lots of vendors at this stretch now. earlier this used to be quiet and peaceful part. now commercialized like all other beaches.
