However, I live in Cornwall and planning to apply for Halton, York, Hamilton and Waterloo. My only concern is would it affect my application since I’m not a resident to these neighbourhoods and knowing the demographics of the area is very essential.
I recently watched a video of the OPP commissioner, who emphasized the importance of knowing your detachments well. Since I live close to six of my preferred detachments, I applied with those in mind. However, I’m curious about what he meant by knowing your detachment well! Is there anything I should be familiar with, such as the staff, call volume, and typical tasks they face. I would greatly appreciate a clear explanation of these aspects. Thank you!
