AITAH Walking Out on my boyfriend after he called me a Bop
Okay so for back ground context. I 28(F) and the boyfriend 33(M).
First of all he’s so childish! Like I’m so sick of his bullshit. So, we take a drive to his hometown in Alabama. We have a good time the whole weekend. It was kind of overstimulating and overwhelming because as a girlfriend I am meeting so many new family members and cousins and extended family that I’m just not knowing. So, on a Saturday, his cousin throws like a kickback at her house. We literally are just drinking and smoking and chilling playing games and everything. My boyfriend gets overly drunk and I am just like DAMMMMNNNNN!! Okay we got to make sure you are straight. So, there are random men and women coming to the party and it just got weird because it was like in the hood. So, I’m just sitting down high off an edible and he tells me to get up and socialize. I am with his brothers gf and their sister the whole entire time just stranding around and just chilling. Wasn’t looking or speaking to ANYBODY ELSE!!! Just around people I fucking know and socializing.
So, I go back into the kitchen and my boyfriend mouths “You are a BOP” meaning I’m a hoe or a slut and I’m like wtf did he really just mouthed that? I thought I was tripping because I’m like wtf did I even do to deserve that. So, he was overly drunk and had to take a nap and stuff like that.
We get home and we are just talking and he was implying like I did something wrong. When we are laying down he then says to me “you are such a bop, I can’t bring you around my family and friends”
MIND YOU I DIDNT EVEN DO ANYTHING! I just grabbed a blanket and ignored him and walked out didn’t say anything to him. Now we have a 10 hour drive and I’m so annoyed because that was such a rude thing to say. I am not looking at other men or anything like that nor was engaging with some hood looking men.
