Detailed A-Z Preparation guidance Needed!!
I recently qualified as a Chartered Accountant and I’m 23 years old. Financially, I don’t have much pressure at the moment. I’m planning to prepare for UPSC, but I’m starting completely from scratch and have no idea about the preparation strategy. However, I’ve always enjoyed subjects like History, Geography, and Polity, and I feel that with consistent preparation, I can crack the exam.
I would really appreciate guidance on the following:
• I’m unable to understand the overall roadmap and timeline for UPSC preparation. I know the basics of the Prelims and Mains pattern, but I’m confused about how long the preparation usually takes and how to plan it effectively.
• Can someone guide me in detail regarding UPSC preparation — including the books to refer to, online classes/coaching that are worth attending (No promotion please!) , and a proper timeline to complete the syllabus?
• What are the best free resources available for UPSC preparation?
• Since I’m at the absolute beginner level, where exactly should I start from?
