They let Courage put their paper incarnations on Eustace and Muriel, making them both come back to life. Then why the paper versions, remained, having fun and flying around like kites with Courage? Shouldn't they have been like empty husks in a similar fashion to the former lifeless Eustace and Muriel?

I will be blunt with you, I have so much fear. They almost never lose finals, Inter has just won a Scudetto and will have far less motivations and hunger to win the Coppa Italia than a side who sits 8th in the league and had dealt with one of the hardest seasons in a lifetime.
