Advice for Mexico Playthrough post 1.13 patch
Hello.
I'm struggling to play as Mexico after the 1.13 patch. Previously, my simple strategy was to get a defensive pact with a (or multiple) Great Powers (Great Britain, Prussia, France or Austria) before they claimed Texas, California, etc.
Now, with 1.13 patch, I need to increase the involvement these Great Powers have in regions like the Great Plains (Texas) and the Pacific Coast (California), which seems rather difficult now, or at least harder than before where a defensive pact was valid no matter the region.
I've tried things like pacts, investment rights, etc. To increase as much as I can their involvement in those regions, but I always fall just a little bit short for their involvement to be Level 2.
Any advice on how to approach the inevitable war against the US as Mexico? I've read some strategies regarding a first attack during the first years, but whenever I've tried this, the US just spam more soldiers and ends up beating me.
