Please help
Hi! I’m a 23F, and I’ve had endometriosis for awhile. It was discovered when my ovary exploded at 18 due to a cyst the size of a baseball growing in my ovary. I’ve since had 2 other surgeries as my endometriosis grows back fast.
My surgeon has refused me a hysterectomy for relief and has given me ”birth control” to help stop my periods from ever happening. Due to waiting around with hardly any care from my DRs (all give me an attitude and refuse any surgeries as they want me to have children despite saying I don’t want any), my endometriosis has spread pretty quickly. My pain is getting worse, I’m becoming bed ridden more, I’m losing so much energy, and it’s ruining the quality of my life. Yet my DRs don’t care, they just want me to have children.
Recently, my period has began starting every 3 days despite being on medication to prevent it. I can’t get an appointment since, for whatever reason, no OBGYNs have been available. It’s been this way for 4-5 months now, continuous bleeding that is. It has gotten heavier and heavier each time, and the pain has gotten worse alongside the pain I already experience from this disease. I’m stuck with no care as my specialist is out until next month and I can’t make an appointment with anyone else. So I’m seeking advice here since the professionals are failing me. What do you guys think I should do? I‘m due for my usual clean out due to my specialist refusing me.
