Should I give him another chance?
I am a woman and 24 yers old and he ls 27 and male.I have a boyfriend, and he has a habit of commenting whenever he likes something—not just on girls’ posts, but on gaming videos and couple’s videos too. He doesn’t write anything sleazy, but he does throw in emojis, flames and hearts to show he likes it. I haven’t seen him do anything like that since we’ve been together. He used to do it with his mates, but after we started dating, I found out in the first month that he was still following his ex talking and liking her photos. We didn’t argue about it at first—even though I asked nicely, he didn’t delete them and unfollow her but when we did argue, he deleted them and unfollow.But once I’d said it, it didn’t matter to me anymore. Right now, he’s tidied up his Instagram, deleted all the comments, saying ‘you’re the important one for me and so on, but I’m not sure – there’s a lot of inconsistency. He’s added this girl to his 2026 manifesto, saying it’ll strengthen our love, but he’s been seeing her for two months and claims she wasn’t important, yet they were still messaging each other up until a week before we met. Apart from this issue, there’s no problem, but I’m fixated on this – I’m not sure if I should give him another chance. r/ advices
