Ford Explorer chime, won’t shut up
EDIT. Didn’t think I’d have to include this as I was just driving around a parking lot while on my lunch to record the video of the issue. Yes I’m not wearing my seatbelt. But that’s not the problem. There’s a difference between this chime and the seatbelt chime
Hey fellow explorer owners!, hope you guys are enjoying your Sundays. I own a 2012 Ford Explorer Limited. And I am having this issue where the Chime doesn’t shut up for a minute or so. I actually did the little trick of getting rid of the seatbelt chime by clicking the seatbelt 7-8 times and leaving the power on accessory mode or whatever it was and it doesn’t chime when I don’t wear my seatbelt. But that still didn’t fix the problem. The chime is annoying as hell. I have people in the car asking me what that is about and I just tell them a lie. It’s not because of the check engine light or the TPS light. I’ve already read the codes, change the battery in the fob pretty much done everything that I’ve been able to think about and looked up, but I don’t know anymore. Does anybody know or can help?
