Why Fast Lane Plus wasn't worth the money at Yukon Striker this weekend.

Visited Canada's Wonderland this past Saturday (May 30) with a friend and spent nearly $500 in total, including Fast Lane Plus. I expected a premium experience, but what I witnessed at Yukon Striker was a total scam and a massive security failure.

At around 5:45 PM at the Yukon Striker station, the station was divided into 3 lanes: Lane 1 (Single Rider), Lane 2 (Fast Lane Plus), and Lane 3 (Regular Line).

Lane 2 was shorter than Lane 3 at the time. The staff member at the merge point was actively dumping a massive crowd of regular line passengers from Lane 3 into Lane 2.

When I officially scanned my FLP wristband, the staff directed me into Lane 2, right behind the 8+ regular passengers they had just moved over from the regular line.

When I rightfully confronted the staff member and asked why regular passengers were being prioritized into the premium Fast Lane ahead of us, the worker literally told me: "Fast Lane Plus waits for 20 minutes, but regular passengers wait for 2 hours."

Are you kidding me? I didn't pay an extra $150+ per person for the staff to use the FLP lane as a charity bypass for regular lines just because they had a long wait time. That completely defeats the legal and financial purpose of buying a Fast Lane pass.

To make matters worse, because the staff opened the floodgates and created a total circus, the remaining regular passengers in Lane 3 saw people moving over and started climbing and jumping over the fences into Lane 2 right in front of me.

When I told them to stop cutting, they screamed back saying "everything is mixed in Lanes 2 and 3 anyway so it doesn't matter where we stand."

It escalated into a massive verbal altercation, and the on-site staff did absolutely NOTHING to control the crowd or stop the fence-jumpers.

I don't understand why the merge point is located so early in the middle of the station instead of right before boarding, and why they are mixing regular and premium FLP lines in the first place. It completely ruins the concept of a premium pass.
