Long Trip experience with Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy 2026
Just finished a 2,570-mile round trip in our 2026 hybrid from Raleigh, NC → Miami → Key West → Orlando → back in 6 days, and wanted to share the experience for anyone considering this SUV for long trips.
We had 7 people onboard the entire trip, and honestly the comfort level was impressive. Even after long driving days, the ride stayed smooth and comfortable for everyone. Highway cruising, cabin space, and overall driving experience were excellent for a fully loaded family trip.
Fuel economy was better than I expected considering the passenger load and luggage. We averaged around 25–26 MPG throughout the trip, which I think is pretty decent for this kind of road trip.
Before leaving, I completed the scheduled service at 3,547 miles just to be safe, and the vehicle performed flawlessly the whole trip. No issues, no complaints — overall a very positive long-distance experience.
