Hi guys,

I have a GE dryer Model number GFD85ESPN1RS, 3 years old and it suddenly started making noise, I called the technician and they are saying the motor is damaged which will cost $500 to fix it.

I am out of warranty and I am not sure if the diagnosis is correct as the drum is rotating fine and heat is proper and no error shown on the app, it's just the sound.

Need help if someone can confirm if this is the real issue, is there any workaround that can be done.
