Anyone else currently trying to join the Navy Reserves and being told there are basically no jobs available right now?
I’m fully medically cleared through MEPS and ready to move forward, but my recruiter told me reserve job options are super limited at the moment (sounds like end of quarter issues maybe?). I’m just kind of in a waiting game for more billets/jobs to open up.
For those who went Reserves recently, how long did you have to wait before jobs became available? Were you waiting weeks, months, or did things open up pretty fast?
Just trying to get an idea of what to realistically expect because the uncertainty is killing me 😅
