Get out and vote!

Vote in person or drop off your ballots at a ballot box by tomorrow, JUN 2 8 PM!

Maybe you think your vote doesn't matter or that shit isn't going to change but if we want to see our way of lives change, we need to make the effort to cast our votes. Too many young people are not voting but it is important that we do if we want changes that will benefit us and align with our world view.

The change I want to see is improvement of public transportation because I loved the accessibility of the NY Metro. Why can't we have that here, too? Every other developed city/country seems to have figured it out. So, I decided to vote because I want to see us modernize and have more safe and equitable modes of transportation. Reducing travel by car will improve our air quality and health.

This is the first time I'm voting since turning 18. I think I was 20 when I registered to vote. I filled out a ballot in the 2024 presidential election but I didn't drop it off or mailed it in.

If anyone is overwhelmed by the amount of people and research it might look like you need to do, don't be. There are voter's guides and it made the process so much more relaxing for me. I used LA Forward because I'm progressive-leaning. If you are skeptical about any candidate or want to learn more about them, you can look up their campaign website on ballotpedia.
