Diagnosed with LS - only symptom is slow healing two fissures, no itching. Anyone else?
Hi everyone, I’m 25F and was recently diagnosed with vulval lichen sclerosus via biopsy. My only symptoms are two fissures that started about 2 years ago after using Clonea antifungal cream. The fissures are slowly healing but there is progress. I have no itching at all — the only time I get itch is as a reaction when I apply topical creams, which resolves when I stop. The fissures get triggered by tight clothes and they hurt after dancing. My dermatologist has prescribed a steroid but I’m quite hesitant to try it. Has anyone else had a similar experience and what treatments other than steroid have you used ?
