First patek from AD

Looking at getting my first patek from an AD
What's everyone's thoughts on the following?
I don't really do yellow gold, so white gold or steel is my choice. They did ask if I wanted a complication, but a little out of the price bracket.
I've seen the 5212 is pretty popular here as a versatile piece.
For those who have the following pieces, how do they go as regular pieces? - I mainly have Rolex and Tudor currently in rotation.
Or does any other members have good suggestions for pieces to get as a first patek?
