Culling Techniques?
So I just moved all my skittle shrimp out of their 3 gallon bowl and into a 10 gallon tank to share with some least killifish. I plan on turning the 3 gallon into a all Blue Dream tank with the intention of culling any non-vibrant blues into the 10 gal.
After 2 days of shrimp catching, I've realized I may have a problem culling the non-blues... basically, it's absolutely hard as fuck to swipe individual shrimp out of a planted 3 gallon bowl with a net. I had to bait my shrimp into their little floaty cave with food then scoop them up by closing the entrance with my net and pulling the whole thing out. Worked great for bulk removal, but not ideal for pulling out one specific individual.
TLDR: Any tips/tricks for pulling out individual culls from a small, heavily planted bowl?
