Are my old SLR lenses any good with new R50
Have been out of photography for some time but planning a trip to Canada and want to get a new camera for this.
My old camera was an EOS 50 bought about 30 years ago so that's how long it's been. I have a 28-80 3.5-5.6 IV ultrasonic and a 75-300 4-5.6 ii ultrasonic both in perfect condition.
I'm still researching but most likely looking at a cannon R50.
I know I'll have to use an adapter. I would want pictures of big horizon scenery and also wildlife, hopefully bears etc.
My question is how good or bad are my current old lenses bearing in mind I'm basically starting from scratch as a beginner for personal use so not expecting miracles here.
Quite a bit of extra expense but if I were to get a new lense my thoughts would be either a 100-400 or 55-250 but unsure which would serve me best. I'm more interested in wildlife than scenery.
