How do I solve this strange issue with my 4K criterion edition of blue velvet?
So basically I tried playing the 4K disc of blue velvet, but this strange flickering as shown in the video keeps happening. It happens in the menu, and during playback. It even happens when the movie is paused which is what lead me to know that this isn’t a movie effect.
Additional details:
My tv is an lg oled c5 48”
I’m using the Panasonic ub450 as my player.
The Blu-ray Disc of blue velvet works just fine without any flickering, and other 4K BDs such as parasite and silence of the lambs worked beautifully. This is the only disc where this strange effect is happening.
I cleaned the disc with a microfiber cloth and couldn’t find any marks or scratches. The disc basically looks flawless.
What do I do?
