Some shit boxes I enjoy

  1. No explanation needed
2.This is the William Afton of cars, No matter how many times it breaks down. It will always come back
3.Regular Car Reviews said “You can’t unshitbox a fox body mustang” And they were absolutely correct
4.The official car of “unlike the girls, the car will not wake up one day and decide she doesn’t love you anymore”

Quick question

My history on this sub has led me to the realization that the people here genuinely believe that liking cars with more than -3 horsepower makes you a fake car guy. So I just wanna ask. If I take a Renault twingo, swap a 500 horsepower tuned hayabusa engine in, give it a wide body kit, put on wide grippy tires, replace the stock brakes with Brembos, add a rear spoiler, diffuser, and a front lip. Just fully upgraded. Does that make me a fake car guy because I’m not following your “slow car fast” mentality?

This sub feels very performative at times

I get that the joke is that we are supposed to pretend fast cars are the spawn of the devil. But hating a coupe because it has a 6 speed manual and 414 horsepower doesn’t make you a “true car enthusiast”. And I doubt that most people who say they despise the Cayman Gt4 have never driven it and or just trying to fit in. It’s okay to like cars that aren’t shit boxes. You aren’t a poser just because you may someday want to own a car that has a better engine than a 0.0000001 liter 0.25 cylinder diesel. It’s okay to like nice things, And before the mods take this down. One of my dream cars is a 7th gen accord coupe 6-6 modified to my preferences. And the mods know that, since they took down the post where I listed it because the list included the Lamborghini Temerario. But the list also included the Ioniq 6n. Which leads me to my next point, why are race cars allowed but not supercars, Nsx-Rs and the s2000 time attack car have been mentioned before but the posts weren’t taken down. Whats the difference between a car that’s made fast and a fast car. And that brings me to “Slow car fast” arguments, yes it can be fun to drive a car to its limits, that’s why we as enthusiasts buy cars. But why would I drive a supercar slower than a peel P50. I know this will probably get taken down but I just had to get this rant out. Have a Renault Twingo day.
