17F, bored out of my mind this summer 😭 looking for people to chat with

Buenos días. Hola.

Okay, so... hi 😭

This is my first time posting here, and I have absolutely no idea how I'm supposed to act, so we're all just going to pretend I know what I'm doing.

I'm 17, from Morocco 🇲🇦, and summer vacation has officially left me with way too much free time and not enough things to do 💀.

I speak Arabic and English, and I'm currently trying to learn Spanish (pray for me, because right now my Spanish vocabulary is basically: hola, gracias, buenos días, and un vaso de agua 😭).

Some random facts about me:

  • My favorite artist is Melanie Martinez 🎵
  • My favorite writer is Dostoyevsky 📚
  • I love reading, especially when a book leaves me questioning my entire existence for a week
  • I love baking 🍪
  • I like puzzles and Lego 🧩
  • I dance when nobody is watching 💀
  • I spend an unreasonable amount of time with my cat 🐱

Basically, I'm the type of person who can go from discussing philosophy to showing you a picture of a cake I baked in the same conversation 😭.

My friends are busy enjoying their vacations, so I'm just looking for friendly people to chat with and maybe make a few online friends.

Please be normal. That's literally my only requirement 💀.

Anyway, if you think we'd get along, feel free to say hi 👋.

Bored this summer and trying to learn Spanish 😭 send help

Hi everyone 😭

I’m bored this summer and decided to start learning Spanish for fun because… why not suffer a little 💀

I’m a total beginner, like LEVEL 0 beginner. The extent of my Spanish right now is:

  • hola
  • buenos días
  • gracias
  • sí 😭
  • un vaso de agua (very important survival phrase btw 💀)

So yeah… I’m basically starting from scratch.

I’m looking for any tips, beginner-friendly apps, communities, or people who can help me practice and learn step by step without me losing my mind 😭

Any help would be appreciated, gracias in advance 🙏

Oh, and if you’re wondering—I’m 17 F 😭. Spanish would actually be my fourth language, so wish me luck because I’m stepping into chaos voluntarily 💀🇪🇸

Offering: french, English | Seeking : spanish

Hi everyone!

I'm 17 (f) and I speak Arabic, French, and English. Somehow my brain looked at that and said, "You know what? Let's learn a FOURTH language." 💀

So here I am, trying to learn Spanish.

The thing is... I actually started learning it last year. I learned the alphabet, some basic words, felt very smart for about five minutes, and then my discipline disappeared into another dimension 😭.

Now I'm back and determined to try again.

I do have Discord but i don't know any language-learning groups , and learning completely alone is honestly kicking my butt. So if anyone has tips, resources, or just wants to chat with a confused beginner who's trying her best, I would be incredibly grateful.

I love Spanish songs, I love how the language sounds, and I refuse to let Duolingo's owl win this battle 💀.

Any help is welcome. Gracias... that's one of the few words I still remember 😭😂

17 years old and looking to earn money online this summer — any advice?

Hi everyone!

I'm 17 and currently on summer vacation, and I'd like to start earning some money during my free time.

I don't have any real job experience yet, but I'm willing to learn and put in the effort. I'm especially interested in online work because it seems more flexible for my situation.

Do you have any advice for someone my age who wants to start working online? Are there any legitimate ways to earn money online as a beginner? Any tips, skills I should learn, or things I should avoid?

I'd really appreciate any suggestions or personal experiences. Thanks! 😊
