Urgent help: Wrong Gcash to Maya Transfer (₱12.7k tuition money) - possible recovery?
Hi everyone, I really need advice. I accidentally sent ₱12,700.41 from GCash to the wrong Maya number today.
I reported it immediately to GCash and Maya support, and I already filed a complaint with BSP. The funds may still be untouched, but support has been slow/no urgent action yet.
When I tried to check/contact the recipient number, it shows “out of coverage/ not in the area” even when using different numbers and networks. I’m not sure if this means the account is inactive or just unreachable.
This is my tuition payment due tomorrow so I’m really stressed.

I just want to ask:
Is recovery still possible in cases like this?
What else can I do while waiting for BSP response?
