Best carrier for two rabbits?
Hi guys,
so I've finally reached the stage where I can get a friend for my rabbit, however, I'm wondering how to best transport them after they've become a bonded pair (if all goes well ofc).
Aside from the vet, I also travel to my family with the bun a few times a year (they bunny sit for me and it's 2hrs away). Half of times I can't go by car, so I need something that won't tear my arm off as I walk in between metro and bus stops and can fit both of them... I assume you put the pair in one crate, right?
So far, I've been using a plastic cat carrier that works well for my lop - he's a little over 2kg and has a lot of space. However, the new bun is bigger, I'm guessing she could be 3kg, and I think they could both fit in but then they would be unable to move around.
I've also seen people use textile carriers but I don't know how stable they'd be on long rides.
What kind of carrier would you guys recommend for two rabbits?
